Stephen read Law at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and went on to complete his studies at the College of Law, London, ultimately qualifying in 2009. He joined Browell Smith & Co. in September 2024.
His expertise covers Wills, Estate Administration (including probate), Inheritance Tax, Powers of Attorney and Trusts. He has extensive experience in dealing with estates of all values, for people from all walks of life.
Stephen is an Associate Member of the Society of Trust and Estates Practitioners. He is a former member of the board of trustees at a well-known regional children’s charity, and former vice-chair of a local young women’s charity.
Stephen is bilingual, speaking fluent Spanish and is also competent in both Italian and French.
In his spare time, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family on the Northumbrian coastline and following his beloved Newcastle United, as well as playing football himself.
